Street Shuffle on Steam

Street Shuffle is a game that I made alongside 6 other people during an internship at the Massachusetts Digital Games Institute. We were tasked to create a card game for mobile devices.

Own the streets of Dunkopolis, an urban up-and-coming city, in Street Shuffle, a brand new strategic card game! Join forces with other performers and take on challengers, amazing the crowd with your skills.

Play as a street magician named Ace, busking on the street for extra cash. Along the way, you meet a mascot, a contortionist, and a mime; other performers who, after seeing your skills, work together to woo over the crowds with you. However, your skills haven’t gone unnoticed. Your party faces other performers who are upset with your sudden boost in popularity. You must battle to gain the affection of the crowd and control of the street!

Features a unique drafting mechanic where each turn you pool together cards from your teammates, character leveling, and a colorful cast of characters that bring the city of Dunkopolis to life.

-Our Steam Page

We developed Street Shuffle in a 3 month period and released it for iPhone and Android devices. After the internship ended, we decided to keep working on our game, and shoot for a PC release. This took us 3 years, with a lot of ups-and-downs along the way.

However, those efforts paid off, and Street Shuffle is now available to purchase on Steam!

We’ve showcased our game at PAX East in 2022, part of the MassDigi booth,
